Southdown Cottage is a quaint storey book cottage that has accommodation for two to four guests. A self-contained cottage, one of four on the historic 1857, six acre beautifully gardened estate 'Southdown' located just a three minute drive from the centre of Bowral.
Upstairs a quaint queen bedroom / en suite overlooking a long pond and hedged cottage gardens. The downstairs bedroom /en suite has two king singles (or made into king bed on request - a fee applies). There is a fully equipped kitchen, lounge / dining area with a bay window seat to sit and watch the colourful birdlife.
Southdown Cottage is ideal for a family or two couples and will provide a most relaxing and memorable stay. Upstairs is not suitable for the elderly or infirm.
A two day complimentary breakfast basket is provided. Wood for the fireplace in the winter months is AUD35 a basket.
You have the use of the magnificent beautiful six acre Estate to wander and enjoy.
The Cottage is three minutes drive to Bowrals many cafes, restaurants, boutique shops antique markets, food shops and supermarkets.
10 to 15 minute drive takes you to the many vineyards, Southern Highland Villages and National Parks.
